How's it going, my fellow ADULT authors, readers, and writers of Dark Fiction?

Welcome to the rebranding of my new author website! Fellow music lovers, including fellow Goths and Metalheads are ESPECIALLY welcomed!

In case you don't know what "New Adult" Fiction means, it is a contrived and pretentious label for protagonists ranging from 18 to 30 years old.

Technically, the protagonists ARE young adults by real world standards.

However, for some absurd reason in 2009, a certain New York based press rewrote the meaning of what's considered YOUNG ADULT. So, "Young Adult" Fiction, as of '09, means adolescent fiction for 12 to 18-year-old readers. Anyway...

For the last several years, I've been meaning to rebrand regarding my content. Originally, I built my very first website, It's Not All Gumdrops & Unicorns on Webs September 23, 2013. Wow! It's like my life just flashed before my eyes! Where has the time gone?

There is a possibility that publishing blogs about music, animation, foreign folklores, reviews, writing, etc. MAY be revived.

It really all depends on my hectic schedule, as I'm now in my early 40's caregiving for my physically disabled and high-maintenance mother.

Although, focusing on my work as an Adult Psychological Horror/Crime-Thriller Suspense author is the main goal. Stalkers, serial killers, mentally unhinged and scorned men and women, oh my!

Also, don't be scared, or at least not TOO scared to read the Excerpts page.

A LOT of time was spent customizing that page with images to help set the tone for EACH short story, and debut novel in the process, All of Chastity's Men.

In fact, "The Horrors of Womanhood" is a grisly teaser with dueling 1st person narration, which segues into All of Chastity's Men.

The preceding novel has been "in the works" so to say, for literally more than a decade.

Ahh, where do I begin? Let's just say that I am an "ethnically ambiguous" eternal bachelorette, who wears many different hats both on and offline and loves being an individualist NOT a self-righteous, political activist; Don't expect to see me protesting on the street about everything ad nauseam.

Politics is BAD for business because it ALIENATES target demographics and customers, especially WE, the fans, who love ESCAPISM for entertainment.

Once again, I am an Adult Psychological Horror/Crime-Thriller Suspense author, former Radio DJ/Hostess, Co-caregiver, founder, webmaster, blogger, animal and entertainment lover (especially when it comes to music and animation), etc. with a B.A. in Asian Studies and a Creative Writing Minor.

If I'm ever approached to have my work turned into a movie, I want it to be turned into an adult animated film because animation, music, and writing go hand in hand regarding art and creativity.

Also, I'm NOT opposed to having my work turned into audiobooks. This especially applies to "The Horrors of Womanhood," which is a grisly teaser that segues into the novel I have been writing for literally a decade, All of Chastity's Men.
